Hi, I need some pointers: ISSUE: The game keeps trying to download patch 4.x.x STEPS TAKEN: Downloaded an 'easy install' torrent for version 3.3.3 (WoW (WotLK) version 3.3.3a (11723) English US - 16 GB in total compressed in a rar file). World of Warcraft Full Mac Install Client - Big Download Once the installation is complete, the launcher will attempt to patch. You MUST abort this patch, as 4.x.x is not supported on Warmane. For future reference, always start WoW with the World of Warcraft.app file. Next, you will need to patch your client to 3.3.5a. MAC Installation Guide WoW WotLK Install + Patches up to 3.3.5a I've been seeing a lot of people trying and struggling to get a WotLK client working on MAC. With the lack of an installation guide for MAC's it can easily get troublesome. The wow client for the latest MacOS (Sierra 10.12+) is really buggy, due to the internal certificate and the binary had to be modified so Mac would accept it. For this very reason Mac doesn't handle running old software well, and for obvious reasons Blizz is not going to issue an updated client to run Wrath. Wow wotlk 3.3.5a 12340 enus for mac download. To update to 3.3.5a you will need to start with this page that lists all the patches that were made during WotLK and provides mirrors for you to download them. As a note, patches must be applied in order from lowest version to highest.

Unfortunately JAMF's forums don't let you link direct to a post in a thread. But d.williams in a post from Feb 2019 in has the instructions that we've found very useful (and still work with 4.8):.
Download AnyConnect DMG from Cisco. Extract AnyConnect.pkg from DMG to your Desktop. Run the following commands in Terminal:mkdir AnyConnectVPNpkgutil -expand AnyConnect.pkg AnyConnectcp -r AnyConnect/vpnmodule.pkg./cp -r vpnmodule.pkg/. AnyConnectVPN/pkgutil -flatten AnyConnectVPN AnyConnectVPN.pkgrm -r./AnyConnect.pkg./AnyConnect./AnyConnectVPN./vpnmodule.pkg.
Thank you, not sure how my original post got deleted. This solved it.But question was Anybody have any luck stripping down the AnyConnect client and repackaging? I want to rebuild the package so it only has the VPN client.nothing else so I can then repackage and deploy via JAMF, not having any luck with Composer.when i pull down the stripped down, pkg from composer i get Verifying package integrity.Installing Cisco VPN 4.8.pkg.Installation failed.
The installer reported: installer: Package name is Cisco VPN 4.8installer: Installing at base path /installer: The install failed. (The Installer encountered an error that caused the installation to fail.
